# Shifty > Shifty is a free website that lets fast-food crew give away a shift they can't work and lets someone else pick it up, with a manager approving every cover. It replaces the store group chat for shift swaps: every shift, ask and answer is in one place, and nobody misses a message. It works in any phone browser, with no app to install. Shifty suits any fast-food, restaurant, cafe or retail team that swaps shifts in a group chat and loses track of who's covering what. It's built around Australia's Fast Food Industry Award 2020 (breaks are worked out for every shift) and runs on the store's own clock. It's an early version, free to try. The demo shows every part with made-up crew and needs no sign-in. ## Try it - [Demo](https://tryshifty.pages.dev/): try posting a shift, asking to cover one, and approving it as a manager. Made-up crew; nothing you do is saved. Switch "Viewing as" to see each side. - [Crew site](https://shiftycrew.pages.dev/): the real thing for a store's crew. Crew sign in with the login a manager gives them. ## More - [Full description](https://shiftycrew.pages.dev/llms-full.txt): how it works for crew and managers, the rules it follows, privacy, and common questions.
